Woobid
Hi guys! Can you please tell me if anyone had any experience with implementing NPC faces through FaceBuilder in Blender and then importing them into Skyrim? Please share instructions on how to import the resulting face (FaceBuilder > Blender) for an NPC into Skyrim?
Woobid
Hi friends, I couldn't find answers to my questions. So I decided that this topic will be used as a diary, in which other participants can help me to move towards my goal. And so what I know: The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Anniversary Edition - this is the same The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Special Edition only with some mods approved by Bethesda Softworks. I know that without special 3D modeling skills you can use Blender and FaceBuilder add-on. I also know that RaceMenu and Expressive Facegen Morphs SE mods allow you to expand the possibilities of customization in Skyrim. However, RaceMenu and Expressive Facegen Morphs SE are no longer supported by the authors and have an old version. I think this is a bad thing. I also know that Skyrim characters' heads have their own "Mesh", which RaceMenu and Expressive Facegen Morphs SE extend with new features. And the FaceBuilder add-on has its own "Mesh", which prevents it from being loaded into Skyrim. It seems like there are two options to check out: 1. Export the mesh to Facebuilder and create a face from the photo with the original Skyrim stack. 2. Learn how to convert the mesh in Facebuilder with the created face to a matching Skyrim mesh. Also, if I understand correctly, the eyes and hair are added in a separate program.
7531Leonidas
Racemenu has constantly been updated, just hasn't been changed for the latest 1.1170. EFM might not 'need' any updates.

7531Leonidas
That is not the SE version of Racemenu ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19080 ). The SE/AE version of EFM is here ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/35785 ). Apologies if you were referencing LE, I was just focusing on your comment about Skyrim SE/AE in your second post. The SE/AE version(s) all need matching versions of SKSE. Извините, если вы ссылались на LE, я просто сосредоточился на вашем комментарии о Skyrim SE/AE во втором посте. Для всех версий SE/AE нужны соответствующие версии SKSE. Good afternoon, yes, you are right, I was mistaken with the version of Racemenu. As far as I understand, EFM extends the capabilities of Racemenu, and Racemenu itself allows to support more complex face meshes in Skyrim. Is that correct? 7531Leonidas
EFM allows for more expressions to be displayed by face animations, but yes, they both are enhancements to standard facegen in Skyrim.
