DavidLeeR
Hi everyone, So I'm working on a mod (for personnal usage) combining those 2 mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19448/?https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19656/? My goal is to create a unique version of the Gauss rifle with the custom sounds and textures while keeping the regular version of the Gauss Rifle. I got everything done so far, exept for the charging sound. I have my unique Gauss Rifle with the custom textures and firing sounds, but I cannot find a solution to add a separated custom charging sound. The only solution is to replace the charging sound for all the gauss rifles but it is not what I'm looking for. Also, I noticed that the Sound descriptors for firing are used in their respective sound keywords exept for the Charging sound descriptor, it has no user as you can see there:https://imgur.com/a/S2ZOOtg (0 User for the charging sound) So I tried to create a custom keyword with a custom Sound descriptor attached to it but when I apply the keyword to the weapon the charging sound just goes on forever after the first shot while the actual charging sound remain the same. While doing some research I find out that the mod "Wattz Rifle" changes the charging sound:https://imgur.com/a/FmMPwQC But still, it just changes the sound file therefore changing the sound of the Gauss rifle itself. I tried to search into the Wattz file both in xEdit and the Creation kit to understand how they applied the charging sound to their weapons and I found out that they replaced the charging sound file, then add the "Hold input to power" flag to add the sound to the weapon and then made the flag "false" in the weapon attachments making it a regular weapon while having the charging sound, my conclusion is that the charging sound is applied to your weapon when you add the "Hold Input to Power" flag making it impossible to create two distinct charging sound.Am I right or is there a solution to that problem? Thank you for reading and sorry if I'm speaking broken English.
