Problem I'm having

I walked out of a house in Anvil in Oblivion and once i was outside my character began very slowly sliding backwards. If I try to move him in any direction he goes ultra slow. It kind of looks like he is stuck on something or he is running in really slow motion. It's really agitating me because I loaded the game and he still does it. Even when I shut the game down he still does it when I go back in. How do I fix this?

if hes stuck in something, try opening your console and typing

tcl

it will turn off collision and you can navigate away from whatever your stuck in.

Dont forget to type tcl in again when you are un stuck, to turn collision back on.

If that doesnt work, the best thing to do is reload a previous save, i had a similar issue where i couldnt move at all and no amount of tcl'ing was saving me...had to load a previous save and lost about 15 minutes of play.

Ok no the tcl thing did not work. It turned off the collision but my point was not that he was stuck in something. Its some weird glitch where he moves slow as poo and if left alone slowly slides backwards or to one side. (i call this the "Gumby" because he doesn't step he just slides slowly everywhere. lol )

"moves slow as poo"

"slides backwards"

....

Maybe someone cast a transform in poo spell and constantly keeps flushing?! o_O...

Anyways load previus game, check the mods also check the gamespeed and stuff like that using the console and if that doesnt work backup some safes before that glich occured and some of the mods you want to keep and re-install oblivion.

I figured it out it was an ini thing. I had another controller plugged in that was sending a slight input that was screwin it up. Problem solved.
