jon572735144 Posted April 30, 2009 Share Posted April 30, 2009 so i have found a few threads about screen shots but none seem to cover a step by step on how to get a screen shot like do i need to create a folder for the screen shots? if so where if not then where are they saved what all do i need to change in the ini file after that what? i use windows vista is there a posibility that my print screen key may be locked in some stupid way? if so how do i get this working? if all elses fails is there a program that would take screen shots for me? do i need somthing like photo shop cs or will plain paint work to open them? the reason i am asking all this is i have gone threw the other threads and followed them word for word and still cant seem to get any screen shotscould some one please explain to me like im 12 how to get screen shots out of oblivion. from the very first step to the very last step and any alternitives if those steps dont work. as well as any links to a program that could take screenshots for me if there is such a thing THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE :thanks: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jon572735144 Posted April 30, 2009 Author Share Posted April 30, 2009 :wallbash: so its been a few hours sence my post and i have been serching faqs like this one http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?showtopic=28507&st=1 after fallowing it step for step including turning of anti aillin or what ever in the options menue of the game i presed print screen and i saw the message that told me it took a screen shot but it was the 5th one it took and the first mesg i saw and now i have yet to see that message agin. and also i cant seem to find the screenshots anywhere. i even surched for the all files and folders with the word screen in them and nothing i have looked threw all my oblivion folders all my document folders i even turned on all hidden files and still cant find out where the screen shots are being saved HELP PLEASE WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? xxXEvandarXxx Posted April 30, 2009 Share Posted April 30, 2009 I don't know where the screenshots could be hiding, but I recommend using a program like FRAPS, which can also display your FPS, record movies (a 30 second limit in the free version though), and, take screenshots.Another great thing with FRAPS is that you don't need to disable AA (if you use it) to be able to take screenshots.
