Respect for your Monarch Mod

The concept of Bannerlord is stunning yet it's execution brings out the tyrant in me and not in a fun way. The developers adopt the old-school philosophy of punishing the gamer*. I want to play a challenging game and don't want them never to say no to me like Bethesda but combine punishment with the many frustrating problems in the game structure and execrable AI makes for a painful experience. Having to hand your hard won conquests to Vassals that will lose them to rebellion over and over again is frustrating enough yet my main gripe is the Space Invader IQ of my cavalry. I grind my teeth and growl obscenities at the f***ing idiots. The way they cross in front of me and barge me away from a kill only to miss their strike is the worst of all the terrible crimes they commit.

I humbly request a mod that enforces some appearance of respect from these bungling fools.

 

Is it allowable in the physics model for the monarch to have an enlarged collision box and greater mass only vs friendly mounted units so that respect is somewhat simulated? Greater mass that I have 100% barging against them and they cannot knock me from my course or block my attacks with their fat horses arses.

Is it possible to give cavalry a flocking algorithm such as those that schooling fish and flocking birds have that they can move as one without knocking into each other thus losing speed and momentum?

I have lead cavalry through enemy formations from behind in a charge but they don't tend to use their weapons as they do when they are given AI control so most the damage they do is mostly from collision. I have tried leading them directly towards a juicy vulnerable target such as unprotected archers and given the charge command but they immediately split up: with 40% diverting left to chase a single mounted scout, 40% diverting right to chase a distant dismounted scout and the remainder, jostled out of their charge, will canter into the nearest wall of spears. Or they will all dive into an infantry formation and form a CLOT in which they cannot fight and just stand there with their mounts getting a re-bore job from a peasant spear. Cavalry is for causing chaos and exploiting it and seeking targets of opportunity. Their strength is mobility and momentum. Never in history did they split up with a couple at a time wading into a spear wall. Sorry big rant, it's so annoying. Is there a built in target priority in the code for cavalry and can they be made to work together somehow? Realistic Battles Mod is a vast improvement, at least they don't think they are infantry try to avoid the CLOT by moving out of the tangle. Still they wont attack unprotected archers in earnest until there is not a single mounted enemy remaining.

 

Also when you rescue Vassals that have been captured due to absurdly gross incompetence and say you are their best friend could the mod include a dialogue option where i can say 'you useless c***'. It doesn't have to have any affect other than to make me feel better.

Oh you think you will grow in wealth by owning more towns and casltes? Ha you fool, of course you have also have to work as a lowly blacksmith and trader to pay for your kingdom like that famous historical conqueror who was also a blacksmith and trader.

 

So you have finally built your town till it is as good as it can be? Haha now it will inexplicably starve to death even tho the market is awash with foodstuff.

 

You are king now and you think you will run things? Ha! it is some kind of enforced democracy so you get to make compulsory decisions that make things worse.
