Ken51
Hey guys... I guess I'm getting too old to figure things out myself (I used to be good at this). I'm a disabled firefighter on too many pain meds, apparently. I'm trying to install the Brurpo BABE Nude Mod. I read the instructions numerous times and I don't see what I'm doing wrong. I've seen the screen shots and they look great. I'd really like to make this work. I'd be very happy to pay for a phone call if anyone can walk me through this too see where I'm screwing up. Ken I'm running Fallout 3 with no problems on this system: Phenom II Quad Core 810 (2.6ghz)4gigs ramXFX 9800+Vista Ultimate 64 on C: and game installed on E: - both 1tb drives
UncleRoe
yeah.. back in the day installing mods was easy eh? can't be that far back though lol Anyways a problem that many ppl overlook with body replacers is the modder does not use ArchiveInvalidation. you just make a text folder in your main files(program files/bethesda) with the name "archiveinvalidation" it validates exported textures, this way fallout recognizes the texture as a friendly and lets it work. Use this link after you've made the folder. it will tune your archiveinvalidation folder up. read carefully. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944 follow the directions, that should handle any texture problems your having. Ken51
I'm going to go back and take a second look but... I re-installed the game under Bethesda (rather than Program Files), installed the Brurpo mod and followed the instructions for running the program you recommended (it gave back a message that it was successful). I tried starting the game and it's crashed twice. Back to the drawing board. I appreciate your help:-)
