SamuraiBuns
Hey, I will let you know I'm new to this whole mod thing so I apologize in advance for the ignorance. I'm having trouble installing mods in skyrim. I think I have everything I need. I have a fresh copy of the game on steam, I downloaded NMM, SKSE, and SkyUI. I put a couple mods in like Dynavision iHud and i put a body replacer mod in (UNPB) and a hair mod. I boot the game up and get SKYUI error code 4 (Not sure if thats the problem) but whenever the game starts up theres no mods in the MCM and the body replacer did nothing nor did the hair mod. So basically It's like nothing worked. I'm pretty new and I would just like a little assistance is all. I apologize again if I posted this in the wrong place or anything like that. I tried all that I know. help plz
eSoDian
Since you're using SKSE based mods, be sure you installed SKSE correctly (by copying both the dll's/exe files and the Data folder to your main Skyrim folder, doing so it will ask you to merge the Data folders -> yes). Also you'll need to start Skyrim through "skse_loader.exe" from now on, otherwise mods depending on it won't work and will give you errors upon loading like SkyUI does and mods not appearing in MCM. As for the body mod the changes to it should be seen while naked (if I'm not wrong) if you don't have armor mods designed for that particular body. And the hair mod won't change the npcs since you said it does nothing (unless you install a mod for that). You'll be able to change only yours by typing "showracemenu" without the quotes in the console (~) and go to the hair slider.

I checked error codes for SkyUI and did what it said and still an error. As for the body and hair mods. I went to the racemenu and the hair isn't even there. Took of the clothes and its still the vanilla body. So I'm still lost lol.
Zedrackis
The hair and body mods not showing up might be a problem with the meshes not loading. I was having a similar problem. You said you were using a hair replacer. In showracemenu when you look at hair styles are their alot of completely bald hair styles? That would indicate the mod is loading but the meshes for it are not.
