Thebioself
So, I recently downloaded and began using the NMM and nexus mods. Previous to this I simply used SKSE and Steam workshops. Up until downloading the NMM and two mods (Locational Damage and Better Sorting), SKSE and Skyrim as a whole worked completely fine. However, upon using Nexus, SKSE immediately stopped working. Now, whenever I go to play the game, I will get the standard start up dialogue box, instead of the one second command prompt that I normally received when using the SKSE Loader. It doesn't matter where I start it up from, the Desktop shortcut for SKSE, the actual app, or through the NMM, I still get the normal Start up. On top of that, SKSE does not work. Instead of it working I get this, http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/4485/tesv2013021018435361.jpg. I never had gotten this before using Nexus, even though I had played the game an hour or so prior. Any help would be gladly received, so thank you in advance. Below I am going to post the link to my Reddit submission where I bring up the same problem. I am doing this so that you can see some of the questions I was asked, and my responses to them, so that we do not have to do that dance. http://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/1pqb85/nexus_and_workshop_mods_question/ Thank you very muchBio
ringgold99
go manually and load the skse_loader.exe and see what happens
Thebioself
I have done this, as was previously suggested to me, but nothing changed. Also, I used the BOSS program as well, but that did not help either. But If I deactivate the Nexus mods I have, it works just fine. sonkaro
Try running skse as administrator. If that doesn't work I would download the 7zip archive from here http://skse.silverlock.org/download/skse_1_06_16.7z and extract it to your skyrim root directory, also make sure your skyrim is updated to the latest version. Make sure skse_1_9_32.dll is in your skyrim root directory where skse_loader.exe is.
