AxlDave
What I'm looking for is a list of all instances in Fallout 3 and every DLC whereby death is unavoidable. For instance: - In Fallout 3, Tranquility Lane, if you punch Betty (Braun) a script runs which makes an explosion happen at your location, and player.kill is enacted. This causes an unavoidable death. - In Operation Anchorage, the explosion damage of the charges used to destroy the artillery guns is set to 7000. If you set explosives on the artillery guns and then stand next to the explosion, this causes an unavoidable death. Any instances such as these are what I'm looking for, where a particular script or effect or whatever disregards all resistances and health amounts to ensure that the player dies if that particular scenario happens. Hopefully if everyone contributes what they know it will amount to a comprehensive list.
McclaudEagle
A nearly unavoidable death scene is in Raven Rock, in which if you give Colonel Autumn the correct code for Project Purity, he will say your usefulness is now gone, and he will shoot you dead. AxlDave
Is that just normal combat though? I'm looking for more exceptional circumstances, events that don't generally occur in the course of normal gameplay. So, whilst entering the Deathclaw Sanctuary in your underwear with one health point could be considered an "unavoidable death", it's not exactly exceptional. Just stupid :P
AxlDave
Found another 2 events: - In Broken Steel, when Liberty Prime is destroyed by the orbital strike the damage is set to something like 750. There is also a scripted player.kill effect. - Liberty Prime's Laser has an instakill Bloody Mess effect.
