Ranokoa
Well, someone in my team, i can not say who or what they are doing to keep as little info out about Project Oblivion as possible until we are ready, is working on a retextured creature... The way i am going to describe it will not say which, but it does not matter considering it all applies to every creature. We want the tail of a certain creature to have flames around it. Be made of flames, whatever. Just be on fire in general. His problem is he can not seem to get the nifskope to have the flame node position itself on anything that is not static. Can someone possibly find a solution to this problem? Does someone know how to make the tail aflame? A loop hole, a way around it, or something that just was not apperant at first. Also, the feet are on fire. My thought was having a bunch of small invisible static areas around the tail, and each one set ablaze to make the whole thing look fireish. He says these two problems... "The flame node is always verticle. Cant get it to go around the tail." and "It seems to only want go on statics" Does someone with a LOT of modding and modeling experience help us here? ~Ranokoa
AzirAphale001
If you have Slofs Robe Trader you might want to have a look at the rings in it, as they are on fire. I think it's just a matter of rigging the FlameNode to the skeleton, but I'm not to sure.
jaysus
the firenode only works on statics and portable lights... you could however do that by using a niflipcontroller similiar to the flaming swords you find everywhere
