Xokks
So the main character doesn't do any talking, by that I mean voice acting. Now I was just wondering if it would add to the immersion or make things annoying if you could have the character you play doing voice acting as well. Say you could have a few options, 3 for each sex, that you could originally listen to a few clips of and see if you want that to be your voice for the rest of the game. Now maybe that would be too much. So what if could just choose what voice type you want when it comes to the grunts and such you hear while punching and doing other things. Would either of these options add much?
Akadai
If it was a single voice, I would rather have the mute option. But if you could pick a voice out of a number of choices (something like say Neverwinter Nights) then I think that would be cool. That way, you can choose the voice set that best suits your character. The reason they most likely didn't add voices was because alot of people probably wouldn't be happy with it, as all characters have thier own kind of personality, you know? And making voice sets? Too much data and too much voice acting. Unless it was only a select few dialogues, but that would seem kind of weird to only be half mute through the game
overload1977
no to add a voice to your char would take up alot of space on the dvd also like you said most people would not be happy with one voice would have to do at lest 5 - 8 voices per race and male and female , you are looking at alot of time and money...... you know maybe someone will make a mod :) to put your own voice into the game :P
