Brainstormepilog
I've been trying to add a flashlight to a helmet for hours, my search for a tutorial was in vain, I didn't find anything and developing it back from the mining helmet didn't help either, does anyone know a tutorial in which the whole thing is explained? RaidersClamoring
The pool of actual tutorials out there is *extremely* limited and you shouldn't be surprised to possibly find that you are literally the only one having tried the particular thing you're attempting to do. It is the second most modded game but 70% are guns, 15% are boobs, 5% are negligible fixes, 5% are SS2 and Settlement Blueprints and the remainder are the actually thoroughly developed mods, like quests, utility libraries, noticeable overhauls, outfit collections and stuff that required actual 3D-modelling. And "hours" will not nearly cut it, for anything. That said, this should be doable. I've never tinkered with 3D but I know you'll need to get acquainted with .nif:s (you will find tuts on this), have a detailed look at the mining helmet in Nif Scope once you understand it, download and acquire information about Outfit Studio for FO4 [1], you could have a look at Elianora's work and vids (amazing game garment designer) [2], watch and read tuts on "kitbashing", among other things (hopefully someone more proficient will chime in) [1] https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25[2] https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22431Good luck. This isn't impossible but you will need to manage expectations of the timeline.

No joke. I spent the better part of yesterday trying to tell the game that 0.15 isn't 0.150002. I failed btw.
