Use compatible mods? Difficult questions for players.

Hello,

Module incompatibilities are common. At the beginning, we look at the reports, we try to warn the modders concerned. Then after having aborted several games, we get tired and we move on. I think I'm not the only one.
I think it would be nice if there was a site specializing in module compatibility. We honestly need to know which modders are working together to make their mods compatible so that we can, from time to time, go through with the game or figure out that it's not a bad choice of mods.

I'm not talking about "collections". But a site where we are given possibilities of module combinations which we know that modders work together to make them compatible. I know it's not easy. But at the 50th bug, and at the 50th aborted game, I must not be the only one to give up.

This is not a criticism against modders, it is a suggestion to help you better. Because if we try to combine non-compatible modules, we do not help you because we collect the sometimes structural incompatibility bugs of the modules.

I would prefer to have "recipes" for modules given by the modders themselves, (not by the players because many do anything like me). In return, on the same site, we could share which combinations of modules we, players, use and why. From this exchange, we could understand what will always be impossible, what could work, and the constraints of modders.

Playing without mods is painful. I know modders go to great lengths to try to improve the game in all of these dimensions. I don't know if TW helps much. But I think a lot of players need to be better oriented to better choose the modules. And I think that would be beneficial for everyone.

 

I would understand if modders told me that my suggestion is just unrealistic.

I find modders to be incredibly creative and thanks to all of you.

i am also having problems with adding mods, first its ok then at mid game when i have enough stats to join a faction at some time the game crashes, i downloaded mostly 1.8v cuz mine is in 1.8v already. just frustrating sometimes to add mods that improves the game

i think to know which mod is compatbile with other mod you have to understand if the mods interract each other on the same scope of function and if they rewrite themself or s#*! like that. You can't have a site who reference all the modder that work with other but u can have information to educate yourself on where the mod hit and modify the source game and at this point if two mod hit the same area and they are not moded to be use together then its incompatible. Im a noob but that seem comon sense
