Look for the Monster Hunter Series. What's it about? The name says it all, ehehe. Plus you get to hunt big bad dragons along the way. Plus you can go on hunts with two other people.

edit: You'll spend months harvesting materials for that perfect set of armor and weapon, plus crafting the tools to take down whatever big brute your going for.

God of War chains of Olympus, Resistance Retribution. They aren't that long but they should entertain you for a while. Also Little Big Planet for the PSP is coming out sometime this year.

God of War is definitely a must buy, it has the best graphics on psp up till now and is addictive as hell.

Also, some more fun games is Loco Roco and Patapon. Haven't played Patapon yet, but am currently replaying Loco Roco for about the 106th time. Basically you need to get a bunch of cute living balls, called loco roco, through a level by tilting the game world itself, while dodging the weird black aliens. All the while the Loco Roco sing for you, and will react to their environment. Come to close to an enemy and they shy away, screaming some weird unrecognizable words. The first time I saw this game I thought it was a baby game, but when it hit the Platinum series I decided to give it a go and loved it. A highly recommendable game.
