RSCA727
I did everything it wants me to do. I put it in the oblivion game file, but renamed it. Because it was gonna overwrite the main data file. Thats as far as I understood from his instructions. The last mod, well I have up on that one. I know I can solve the one. Now, it tells me to put my data folder in \Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion game directory. Well.... that you see ladies and gents is a problem. It will overwrite main folder.. :( I got older version, 4.4 already, so if it dont work out I could care less. Anyways, if someone can help me out with would be greatly appreciate. I followed step by step... but something is telling me I screwed up something
Crimsanity
It's perfectly fine to put it where it tells you to and merge the data folder. Will probably also ask to merge meshes and texture folders, and overwrite a few files there. Is fine to do that as well. After copying all the files, should just be a matter of activating the mod and playing.
dezdimona
Crimsanity is correct. Also always make a copy of your data folder before installing any mod, that way you have a good copy and it can save you a reinstall of the game
bben46
If you rename it, the game cannot find it. Go ahead and allow overwriting - it dosn't really overwrite, it actually appends to the file. ALL mods do this.
