Dashyburn
Seen several posts on this subject with people carrying on about this (not any of the above posts) but I have seen people cause panic in other posts and make people move their entire Install for no reason. It's perfectly fine to have steam install in its default on c: in program files The thing you do not want installed in program files is your mod manager, but your mod manager is also perfectly fine to be installed on c: MO2's default install is c:/modding I have these installs and a stable game, I get a surprise now when the game crashes it's so rare. I run all apps via MO2, nemesis, DynDOLOD, XEdit etc. and said apps are also installed on c: (not program files) TL:DR Perfectly fine to install Steam, Skyrim and related apps on c: as long as they are not in the program files folder.
