bekru Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 Hey everyone, just thought i'd throw up this WIP to get some opinions on the layout and design I am working on here. It is slow going as I don't have much time to spend on it and new to modding, but the basics are worked out i suppose. I started it with an idea of some mercenary organization, but in the process came across the MERC mod (which accomplishes most of the things I would have liked to do but was not knowledgeable enough to implement). I'm leaning now to some remnant of a black program, a paramilitary intelligence outfit whose existence and purpose are all but forgotten to the world, buried and cut off from communication for x-amount of years, recently resurfaced and establishing observation posts. It is very barebones at the moment, and i dont plan on any kind of release until i work out a minimum of interactivity. With no further ado, here are the pics! Also an eye chart posted on a wall and a car door. As I'm typing this I think it would be cool if I could script that kid from grayditch to come to Vtower instead and replace the bottles on command. Or some kind of replacement command at the least. The ladder links up to the top of the tower, but I have only the most rudimentery of collision worked up there. There is a metal sliding door that shuts off the small anteroom off the front entrance, wherein I plan to place a security console/camera system. The building shape follows roughly the exterior design as I thought it should fit, the interior has been torn down and refurbished in a manner that will (eventually) allude to the resources, history, and associations at their disposal. Ideally I would eventually like to incorporate an open air third level, mimicing the broken rooftop of the building as visible from the wasteland, a zip cord or 'laundryline' to cross between the two valkyrie towers and further assets in the 2nd building, perimeter outposts in the outlying cityscape (approcahes from farragut metro and the wasteland), EVENTUALLY id like to incorporate a network of listening posts at such value targets as raven rock, the pitt, BoS Citadel and so forth, quests of varied degrees of morality which result in skill boosts (special training) or unique equipment or even assiting to establish the network, friendships to be made aswell as enemies, companions to be hired, a science team, technician, medic, quartermaster...the list goes on.
