pinklem0nadepunk
First things first to get it out of the way: I'm brand new to modding Fallout: New Vegas, so theres a good chance that the problems I'm encountering are due to my inexperience. I've also yet to try a few more things in order to get my game to work (uninstalling and reinstalling the game, uninstalling and reinstalling Vortex, seeing if any of my mods need updates), but I'm still looking for advice and guidance regardless As I've stated already, I'm brand new to modding Fallout: New Vegas and to the game in general; I've only gotten into the game this year and I've only recently finished my vanilla playthroughs. I managed to find and use the tutorial that I've linked below and it was working as expected, up until I got to the step where I had to install the Mod Limit Fix and the Heap Replacer mods linked in the video's description. I installed the Mod Limit Fix mod first and after running the game, it worked as expected. But the issues began after I installed the Heap Replacer Every single time I tried to boot up the game, it crashed during it's load up sequence. I tried opening the game through Steam, through the shortcut I have on my homescreen, through some of the different mod loaders found in my game's files and still, nothing has worked. I tried disabling the Heap Replacer and it still crashed; same with the Mod Limit Fix as well. I don't know if something is wrong with those two mods, or if its with my game or what. If anybody more experienced with me could give me some advice on what to do, that would be highly appreciated!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7F1rsvhVNgI <- Tutorial I used
