redman223
For some reason in Cheydinhal by the hole in the wall, right in the middle of the pond there is a missing mesh. That pond has a creek that goes into Cheydinhal and there are a few more of the missing mesh markers there as well, one of them being right by the small bridge. The only way I can make these go away is by disabling Open Cities. I have tried disabling every other mod I had running and with Open Cities enabled there are still missing meshes. However, I can have everything else running and with Open Cities disabled there are no missing meshes. I have checked to make sure the Open Cities meshes were installed to the correct locations. The only thing I can think of that might interfere with the wall in Cheydinhal might be QTP3 redimized, which I installed manually. Is QTP3 referencing a texture that Open Cities changes? I read that the hole in the wall was added by Open Cities, so that is why I am asking if that could be the conflict.
redman223
Ok, so this is weird. I tried installing Open Cities before any other mod and it still give me the missing mesh markers in Cheydinhal! By installing before any other mod, I mean I did the following and then installed it: 1. Install Oblivion2. Install Shivering Isles3. Install official Shivering Isles 1.2.0416 patch4. Install Knights Of The Nine and all Official DLC including The Fighter's Stronghold6. Install Unofficial Oblivion Patch 3.2.07. Install Unofficial Official Mods Patch v158. Install Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch 1.4.0 After installing all of the above, I installed BOSS and OBMM, and that was it. Like I said, I then followed the instructions in the readme to the letter and Open Cities still will not work. I don't see what I did wrong, hopefully its something really small and someone can help me out. Would you say the steps above could be considered a fresh install? I was asking about QTP3 in the last post because I have many more mods installed on another install of the game, but since it was't working I figured I would try it on my backed copy of a fresh install. Still no luck. Seems like QTP3 does not make a difference as it doesn't work on my fresh install (haven't installed QTP3 yet) either.
redman223
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23055 It was these two files missing from the mesh pack available for download. Finding that was a major headache, hopefully this will help someone out in the future. Drag these two files into your Meshes\OpenCities directory and the missing meshes go away.
