checkers45
Hello, I played the original Skyrim when it first came out for a few months but never since. I intend to purchase the special edition and have a ryzen 3400g. I would like to know what mods are recommended and compatible with the latest patch. I've been browsing but feel it may be a case of hit and miss when picking mods. I intend to build a stealth character. My main priorities are mods that increase performance, quality of life and gaming content, without adding anything overpowered or broken. I understand a 3400g is not powerful, but I originally played skyrim on a dell inspiron laptop and it was perfectly playable with a graphics mod. Thanks for reading, hope you can advise with your experience!
7531Leonidas
According to ppl, the only mods you will have to be extra careful with are those depending on SKSE/SKSE64. There is a mod page for monitoring updates to those mods for the various versions of Skyrim SE ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). With that said, unfortunately, a LOT of the quality-of-life mods are dependent upon SKSE ( http://skse.silverlock.org/ ) and the companion Address Library ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32444 ). You should check out the mods you see that you are interested in, and research the comments/bugs on each. There is a downgrade patcher that will allow you to roll back your Skyrim SE to an earlier version for compatibility's sake. I haven't used it, so no link from me.
