Absolute Noob Here.

Hey guys.

 

Please spare me of your flaming, im an absolute noob at this.

i started divulging into modding a year ago ish. Now im back, and ive forgotten everything.

 

I was following tutorials on like making spells, and i can make spells fine.

I just cant give myself the spells. Ive put them on certain NPC's spells list

like Edgar vautrine from discount spells and Calendil from the mystic emporium i think it is.

After ive saved my esp file, i load up oblivion, check the boxes for the data files and the spell is not there. Ive tried this countless amounts of times. Ive also tried editing properties of existing spells that i have, but that doesnt work either. And ive tried AddSpell Spell name etc in game to try and give me the spell and had no such luck.

 

Can anyone direct me to a video tutorial on how to do it.

Or even point out possible flaws in my nooby methods.

This is TES4edit I recomend you download it and look at your esp if it is being overwritten or conflicting red it will cause problems to the pint oblivion won't lload it or even crash when trying, I find that TES4edit is an invaluable tool for anyone to see why things don't work :biggrin:
