So far, I haven't had many problems with Vortex at all since it released

Has been working pretty well for me on basically all the games I've modded with it. It just works! Mostly.. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones, I can't remember the last issue I had with Vortex and mods. I want to appreciate what has been built here with Vortex and Nexus Mods. I may have said a thing or two negative in the past, but what we have going here with all these mods is a great thing and I see Nexus is only growing more and more every single day. Appreciation for the creator of the site/ vortex/the mods/the admins/staff/ et all. Most I think like the work you do, they just remain silent :cool:

 

Of course Nexus isn't the only mod place and I use a multitude of sites but far as I'm aware this is the biggest and best site around. Y'all take care now :smile:

Some of us followed Tannin when he moved on from MO 2.

 

No matter where you download mods from, Vortex can handle it. That is pretty impressive for a free mod manager.

 

People just scanning the forum might think Vortex is all problems.

Well the people who are happily using Vortex don't post. We only get the problem cases.

Thanks for that friend. You, too, are appreciated. Felt like I'd lighten the mood. I made a not-so-great post a little bit ago and it got deleted so I wanted to make up for it by posting something better. And it's all true :]

539 mods in FO4 and 699 in Skyrim AE, stable now. The problems I had were issues I had because of myself, not reading correctly descriptions, for example.

 

I have smaller setups for Cyberpunk, Witcher 3, Oblivion and New Vegas. Again, the problems I had were because of mods, not Vortex.

 

It's a great mod manager.

Thanks for the response! Same here most of if not all of my problems weren't with Vortex itself but something I was doing on my end or something with the mod itself. I'm a bit of a veteran at modding yet at the same time I'm still a bit of a newb in some respects so yeah, I end up messing things up myself and having to start over from scratch :laugh:

 

Edit: I think I'm either lucky or know more of what I'm doing to not have had any real major problems at all, for all this time with Vortex. Absolutely fantastic work has been done on this app. Not everyone may be as lucky as me with no problems.
