Screenshots/media from Nexusmods permissions?

Hi.

 

I'd like to do Paintings replacer. Images would be from Nexusmods, users submitted screenshots and media sections.

I've read Terms of service etc. and want to clarify, can i use them freely or must ask permissions from Nexusmod and/or screenshot author, and maybe creator of the mod what is in the picture?

If i understand correctly, Nexusmod is co-owner of those screenshots now, and it is not neccessary?

My replacer mod would be uploaded at Nexusmods only, as i'm not real modder.

Submission of existing user-submitted content without obtaining permission from the original author(s) of said content is strictly prohibited.

 

 

Proper credit to the original author(s) must be given unless the author(s) has/have specified that credit is not necessary. Please, be aware that the mere accreditation of an author is no substitute for receiving explicit permission to upload or modify someone else’s content.

You still need to ask, as the images do belong to their creator/uploader.
