Mods request - Loads of ideas

Below are a selection of ideas from the top of my head regarding mods I think could add a lot of replay value and depth to the game. If anyone were to know of mods that already exist for these I'd obviously be interested.

- Parry ash of war available for medium swords and weapons e.g. Katana not just Wakizashi

- Parry ash of war for shields can be also used on knives and small/medium weapons e.g. Carian Retaliation

- If you parry but miss however they walk into a knife parry they get small damage depending on the parrying item

- You can swap capes in alter garments with different torsos gaining a new ability. e.g. Taking off the cloak from either Raptor Black Feathers or Black Knife to add leaping perk or quiet footsteps.

- Have the ability to copy a perk from an item to another of the same class. E.g. Ranni's hat's frost bonus. Finding the hat gives the the right to copy it's stat increase to another piece of headware. If you wanted to break the game with customisation allow two perks to be applied per item.

- Turn bloodhound step back into it's original form before patched

- Status bar indicators to see rate of frost, poison, pose breaking, sleep or bleed build ups

- Asymmetrical gauntlets become symmetrical in altering garments with the metal side, not the leather side. e.g. Carian Knight Gauntlets and Ronin Gauntlets

 

- Special power stancing move sets when you combine two different weapons from the same theme

- Have damage icons appear above enemies or be more subtle by making their feet glow. Whatever the indicator or symbol it is to train people in recognising damage mismatches. Or even symbols just on your hud. Either way you can see enemies inherent weaknesses and how that relates to their factions and lore.

- Add a whip spell and ash of war for staffs

- Change the ash of war on weapons you wouldn't normally be able to

- Spells that enchant both weapons for dual wielding

- Optional HUD indicator for parrying window or to train moves unparryable. i.e. you could have a sound or a small flash to indicate the right time for parrying. Then over time not use it because it was a training tool. Especially helpful as different weapons parry differently.

- Allow other ash of war for staffs and seals. Either your favourite spell or something like Earth Shaker, a roar, gravitas, hoarfrost stomp, blood hound step etc.

- Keep great runes in NG+

- Have a randomised enemy generator. Basic game NPC's don't change you get more enemies that can invade you. The enemy appears at random intervals every 20-30 minutes or you could define yourself for the session. When the enemy arrives the type and everything from their armour and weapon is randomised too. e.g. A regular soldier dressed with the black knife hood, raptor cloak, goat greaves and fire prelate gauntlets and wielding starscourge greatsword. That was just the first random items I could think of, but a similar enemy generator would be fun and sometimes super inconvenient and Souls Like when they generate at the worst moment possible. Like bullying yourself.

- have a stop watch or a bar that shrinks on your hud with status affects you use on yourself. e.g. Godskin swaddling cloth's 10 second rule, unseen form's duration or any kind of enchantment with a timer.

- spells like unseen form can be cast whilst crouching without standing and either running or horseriding without slowing down

 

- put down as many warming stones as you'd like

- allow you to preprogramme your mimic instead of switching in and out of loads each time with all their gear

- when you hold up or down on the digital pad a spell or item wheel comes up instead of cycling through them individually

- when using blood hound step or parrying, engage the ash of war on the release instead of the initial press

- in NG+ enemies get upgraded. Maybe 20% more minor enermies and mid enemies like the Haligtree Knight (knights in general) are increased in number by 100% dotted around their respective maps.

- create a small but new location where you can summon any combination of NPC's for practice and variety. An arena if you will. If only there were already empty arenas in Elden Ring.....

- Make skeletons (a very common enemy in the game) have elemental infused weapons with an ash of war to spice up combat.

- Insanely common enemies like stone imps, skeletons, general soldiers etc should come in at least three random sizes that affects their behaviour and stats. Big = slow and powerful, Medium is what we already have and small is obviously fast. Some weapons will become useless for small enemies and will force people to adapt.

- Lighting and graphics mod for a darker and more sinister theme

- Add ghostflame as an infusion that scales with intelligence and faith dealing cold damage

- When talking with npc's you appear unarmed and your helmet/hat is off. Or they're just temporarily invisible.

All of these ideas are for the player who has a meta character after several play throughs but wants new challenges and playstyles to mess around with. If anything already exists I'd love to hear.

- When power stancing weapons, if you hold down the left bumper you block with your weapons crossed like the Rotten Knights do

- when you acquire a torch you can infuse it's essence/flame into your lantern. Either that adds a buff or just a cool glow.
e.g.
- ghost flame torch buffs your cold/occult/death or takes a cold infusion weapon and upgrades it to ghost flame with cold, magic and death as well as the same shade for the lantern
- beast torch infusion obviously has beasts not attack
- sentry torch automatically reveals hidden things
- st trinia's torch adds sleep to melee attacks

- Modify ancestral infants head to pool in a circular aoe when poured from above on an area below. Allow for constant hold of action button to continue consuming FP and producing spirit vapor.

- Make Rain of Stars a continuous activation spell

- Ritual pots are grenades. You don't throw grenades at people like a brick but at their feet.
