Only want to use 2 mods but neither work

I rarely use mods except for bugfixes so I am fairly new at this. I have been trying to get this to work for several hours over the course of a few days so any help is appreciated. Basically with these 2 mods installed I crash on load if I load from the mod manager or directly from Steam.

 

First I am playing on STEAM and I have all of the DLC and I have it all installed.

 

o I installed Fallout Mod Manager and then the two mods I added are: jsawyer and Mojave Wasteland Ultimate Edition (I modified the fallout_default.ini as instructed by the readme for .

o New Vegas runs fine without these two things checked from both STEAM and the mod manager. It does NOT run them individually OR together.

o Invalidation is checked in tools.

o I ran an updated BOSS sort and tried other load orders (but its only 2 mods anyway).

o I uninstalled and reinstalled everything and I have rebooted, run FoMM as administrator, disabled STEAM community in-game, etc.

 

Both mods are working and stable, as a friend recently played with both running on STEAM.

 

Any ideas???

Did you do this - from the mod description & install instructions

 

 

One Final Step: You have to make an integer change in an ini file. This only needs to be done once; and further mod updates do not require this.

Open "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\fallout_default.ini"
Go to line "92". In this line or close to this line should be written:
"bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=0" change the value from "0" to "1" and save the file. Make sure to run Fallout: New Vegas once through the original loader so that this change is applied to the game. Running through a 4gb loader or something similar will not apply this change.

Yes I did that, thank you for the quick reply though. I even reinstalled through STEAM and tried to reload the mods and I am still getting the instant crash. I am at a loss because the game runs just fine but even trying to run one mod leads to a crash.
