It's a trade off, dual wield and no single wield, or single wield and no dual wield, even if you replace the animations and all, so long as you have a dual wield mod that changes all pistols to dual wield, it isn't a problem right? I guess we will see, but I like that idea.But wouldn't it be better to change the zooming animation to double pistols with FOSE or something? That way you could have both. ecksile Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 You still haven't solved the projectile node limit which is the main reason this hasn't been made from what I can see...My theory is to put that bad boy right in between the 2 pistol meshes and make a projectile that comes out of both barrels at the same time. The downside is each weapon would need its own special made projectile/muzzle flash to line up correctly with the ends of both gun barrels and the guns would fire at the same time (im not even sure if this is possible just a theory), As well as each handgun mesh inside the nif would need to be perfectly fitted to the holding animation (distance apart/ect)...it would be like dual wielding in Syphon Filter:The Omega Strain....Idk what the animation restrictions are when it comes to this either, And I'm not sure how they would be if you tried independent dual wield...possibly make it so zoom becomes alt fire? making left and right mouse clicks fire independently? There's also ammo counting...Lots of trial and error I see in the future of this one...Id say hope for NV to have it implemented otherwise I wouldn't consider it to much work for something that wont be that great... However, if you are willing to live with a single pistol reload animation, and just doubling the clip size, and with only one node firing, then it is simplified down to changing the firing animation to holding two guns. Shouldn't it be the other way? Dual pistols normally, single pistol when you zoom in? Cause dual pistols is the reckless "not really aiming just shooting as many bullets as possible" way... then when you want to take a careful shot you aim with just one gun.
