Cameronx1
I made a house mod, and there is a maid inside of the house, The maid is a custom character, but it still has dialouge options with it (EVEY dialogue option)I want to completely strip this character of all things it can say,and I want to figure out how to add my own Dialoge options and Responces. like when i click 'Hello'a subtitle apears saying 'How are you' (as a responce from the maid) (Also, how do I ADD items into NPC inventorys????) Note:Im not interested in adding audio files for her responces, just textlike in the 'Bank of Cyrodill' mod. Any help would be apreciated
Vagrant0
Some dialogues, like greetings, hello, goodbye, crime, and such are global, and determined by race, or have no such conditions, so cannot be easily done away with. Other dialogues use factions or a specific ID to determine who can say them, these ones can be changed. To remove as much dialogue as possible, you should probably make sure that the actor does not belong to any faction that has special dialogues (like city factions), disable rumors and persuasion, give them a responsibility of 20. Then, within a quest that has a priority of 50 (for the purposes of maintaining clean dialogues) make responses that point to that particular NPC or faction for the existing greeting, hello, goodbye topics (some in conversation tab) and add your own topics you want to use with that NPC to that same quest. You should probably avoid doing anything with the crime, combat, or alarm topics since doing so may prevent you being able to know what is going on with the actor.
