strkrjns
The FOSE read me says it is compatible with 1.5 but whenever I start up the FOMM I get a message stating that I have an unknown version of Fallout. I don't see any other posts about this as of yet. Any clues? Edit: Good thing I made a backup before patching, seems 1.5 is farked by the way people are talking. Going back to old version. Cipscis
Yes, the latest patch is "farked". If you do roll back, make sure to pick up JustinOther's Fake Patch. The latest FOSE beta should work just fine with the latest patch and FOMM. Cipscis
Diehard335
People have been reporting compatibility issues with my mods and version 1.5. So It's 1.5 that's F'ing us all over...
evanbgood
I may try the fake patch, even though I haven't run into too many problems with 1.5 yet (though there was one unexplained crash that... may make more sense now). A few things about it confuse me, though.1. Do I want to use the fake patch on 1.0 or 1.4, or does it matter?2. Does the fake patch REALLY fix commando/gunslinger/etc. in VATS? Because that was the main thing I wa excited about in 1.5 :)3. Any word on Broken Steel and this? Will we need it? Or was 1.5 just a Windows Live tweak for Broken Steel? Cipscis
I would recommend using v1.0.15, as it is the latest patch that doesn't break VATS, and is compatible with FOSE. The VATS perks have been fixed, but VATS itself is still broken though, as there are still several unpatched VATS related bugs. Considering that I can run The Pitt just fine on v1.0.15, I would imagine that the same will be true with Broken Steel. Unless you're silly enough to care about achievements, I wouldn't expect there to be any problems. Cipscis
evanbgood
Heh, you can't be silly enough for that and like FOSE at the same time, anyway. I'll take my sprint and weapons kit mods over some "gamerscore" any day.
