papakat420 Posted September 25, 2022 Share Posted September 25, 2022 all i see are people complaining about Bethesda screwing us over and over again and how their game dont work no more. well heres a simple fix that dont require ANY CONSOLE commands at all. 1: verify game file integrity 2: install nexus downgrade patch mod version " BestofBoth_1.6.640.0-1.6.353.0exe-57618-2022-09-20-1553708777 " MANUAL DOWNLOAD ONLY...MANUAL DOWNLOAD ONLY 3: open file run patch 4: install SKSE version " skse64_2_01_05.7z" and overwrite existing SKSE 5: use mod versions from before the update 6: enjoy your game this could be permanent if you disable auto updates through Steam (update only when launched) if you liked your game the way it was youll be fine. if you want to go back to current version of Skyrim after everything is straightened out you can with no problem just reverify game files and install the correct SKSE and update your mods. super simple and easy....PLUS IT WORKS WITH CC CONTENT. no reason to go all the way back to skyrim version 1.5.97 UPDATE: currently running 110 mods and 209 plugins including RaceMenu and PapyrusUtil with no problems at all so this method does work!!!!!! just fyi im using MO2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
