construction set editing

Recommended Posts

i'm pretty new to construction set and have been looking to change some elements of kvatch aftermath. (no I'm not looking for people to tell me I should have gone with kvatch rebuilt!!!)

when I try to edit the town the only view I get is when kvatch is under siege.

i've edited the exterior and changed it without problem

i've added doors inside the city which work without a problem

if I want to change an element of the completely reconstructed town (after all the quests), how do I load this completed town up to edit???

(if it makes more sense imagine trying to edit the house from the Cropsford quest - you can edit what it looks like before you complete the quest but how do you change it's appearance afterwards when the house has been rebuilt)

cheers in advance

If I remember correctly, Kvatch Aftermath uses different worldspaces to simulate the different stages of the city's rebuilding. If you want to edit the finished city, you should look for the last stage worldspace.

when you make the mod the active mod in the cs,all components are loaded. Find the mod which you have already done, now go down to the window. scroll thru the outside references, you should see all the parts for that mod come up,Then just click on the exterior or interior setting for the part you wish to edit

:thanks: cheers for the help -

part of the kvatch aftermath plotline is that after the town has been rebuilt it is reattacked and you must stop the daedra from taking over again

i think this is what the cell i was loading up was. that means that all the stuff is rebuilt already and there for editing but there are also some piles of rubble and daedra. I edited the thing i wanted to without a problem when i found it there.

turns out i didnt need to look for a different cell to edit but thanks for all your help anyway
