Frostfall 2.5 new Meter features and stuff not working

EDIT; I have also started having CTDs when trying to access frostfalls MCM Menu as well as loading and saving games that have frostfall active.

From what I can tell, frostfall itself is working perfectly fine, but for some reason the new cold/wet meters and the weather gem will not appear, and the "exposure protection" does not appear either. I am using iHUD and this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1810/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D1810&pUp=1 and I think one of them could be to blame, though I followed all of frostfalls instructions to getting it to work with iHUD and no luck.

I have tried; Running SKSE as admin, redownloading frostfall/skyui/ihud, starting new characters, disabling every mod but frostfall and skyui, so it seems none of these mods are conflicting with frostfall, I checked frostfalls compatibility and troubleshooting section thoroughly, I don't know what else to try. Frostfall's new features just do NOT work for me.
