CP2077 Modding - Do NPCs Use Guns?

Just getting started with this, apologize if it sounds like a dumb question. I've found mods that configure guns but they don't affect NPCs.

 

Just wondering, do NPCs actually use "guns" or do they just kind of have set attack patterns?

 

If you want to be extra nice, point me to where to get started editing that kind of stuff if I want to adjust enemy accuracy and weapons handling for PC.

If you piss off an NPC, they will pull a gun or knife and kill you pretty quick. I have a mod that lets me spawn in NPC's, I like hanging with Jackie Wells but he is severely nerfed. If there is a way to fix that, I'm all in.
