Harabec Weathers
Well it used to be DLC was called a "download." And these downloads would be simple "hyperlinks" to various "mirrors." When one of these mirrors got fuxxed you'd just dl from another one. And that worked okay. Oh the good old days before bull came around haha Lol geeze I had forgotten all about mirriors. ManOfGah
These expansions feel like the early expansions to Oblivion, like Knights of Nine etc. So I hope there will be a large expansion in the size of Shivering Isle because that was a good expansion. A totally new world with new things everywhere. Not just some retextures and a few new meshes. And GFWL sucks big. Actually, I thought knights of the nine had a lot more content then any of the recent fallout 3 DLC's. It had a full set of armor (which is a lot more in Oblivion then it is in fallout) that would actually change depending on your skills, it had at least 4 or 5 new weapons, it had new enemies, it had new followers, and it actually kinda took awhile to beat, I for one couldn't do it in one sitting like with the fallout 3 ones. Actually, I'm expecting Broken Steel to be kinda like it, its got quite a bit of content, with the new weapons, armor, enemies, perks...

But all we can do is speculate because MS is just goofing around with us. So yea, still waiting on them fix their stuff. Working out to pass the time besause I cant play Broken Steel. This freaking blows.
sp86
How long did it take them to fix "The Pitt" download?
Harabec Weathers
How long did it take them to fix "The Pitt" download? Far as I could tell way less than is taking them to get rolling on fixing this one. A few hours maybe?
sp86
Rolling up on 18 hours. MS DRM conflict still not fixed. According to anecdotal reports the damned thing has popped back up 2 or 3 times in the store, there's some reports of people actually getting it working, but I call shenanigans. I second your call good sir. Ive been checking GFWL like every 30 mins but to no avail. I really dont understand what the problem is but this is absurd. Piss poor management MS. SnowWolf75
Heh... wow. I'm glad I'm not obsessed about it. As mentioned earlier, I've gots other stuff to play in the mean time. Ya'know, I'm in QA for software... and while I havn't done load testing, nor do I work for MS, the tales about the faulty site make me all kinds of sad. I've seen bugs and crashes in the software I do test, which might come to the caliber of these problems, but when I report them they get fixed toot-sweet. I guess the company I work for actually cares about the end product and end-users. If I did work at MS, I'd likely be the black sheep, pointing out the glaring problems that others don't want to upset the status quo with. *shrugs* I will throw my vote in for the return of physical media providing expansions... providing it's actually bug free at shipping (which is another thing that I've seen problems with, even in the console world). I'm sure they could figure out a DRM solution for the physical media, since they're obsessed with it.
