s0mbo12
Oblivion will not Detect OBSE on my computer. I am using Windows 8.1, with Steam, Oblivion, and the Oblivion Launcher all being run as an Administer. The Game opens and I promptly get a message stating OBSE has not been detectedI installed all files from OBSE 20 to my root folder (the folder with the Oblivion EXE) When I say that I mean I installed the files, not the OBSE Folder, I opened it and installed all files withinI installed Oblivion properlyI have reinstalled Oblivion and OBSE multiple timesI have "Enable Steam Community Ingame" checkedI am using an ENB with the current ENB series wrapperMy computer has an Nvidia Titan, 16gb of Ram, 4770 processor, so don't bother asking if my computer is strong enough for oblivion.I can run FOSE, NVSE, and SKSE all fineSteam auto-CTDs my game when I try to run it in compatibility mode, so no I cannot do that
s0mbo12
Apparently with Windows 8.1 OBSE will only run if Steam is installed away from the Program Files. I moved Steam to a different folder and it worked fineHopefully this will help anyone else with the problem I had
s0mbo12
New update. After working for a day, after I restarted my computer Oblivion is back to not reading OBSE, is it me or is valve actively making their products crappy with windows 8 to make the OS they're coming out with seem better
