weird sounds

Recommended Posts

While playing, i keep getting a sort of 'blipping' sound. I dunno what the beef is. I used to be able to ignore it but recently its gotten louder so it overshadows even the gunfire. It seems to be louder and in more frequency when i'm in open areas, whereas it calms down indoors. It starts as soon as i load up my file/start a new one, and persists even through loading screens. I'm wondering if, once again, one of my mods has messed it up somehow, but they all appear to be functioning normally.

Suggestions?

What kind of blipping sound?

The sound that your computer makes when you press LeftShift multiple times?

Or Sound Quality? Probably your soundcard.

Or the game's music/sound are just lagging. Who knows.

or your harddrive going nuts?

There has to be an easier explanation for that blipping sound.

Maybe Cthulhu is living beyond your computer. Oo

I dunno, i never heard my pc make that sound before, if i'd have to use a anomatopeia then i'd use 'Blk' LOL, It only started recently so it shouldnt have just started without anything being done to it. Maybe this is gonna be one of those times when i have to uninstall the game, AGAIN, and reinstall all my mods i'm using.

it does feel like its an external program, but i have stickykeys turned off cos it annoys the hell out of me. wonder if its another sort of windows app. Stoopid windows. It doesnt appear on any other program, only fallout tho so i wonder if that really is the case.

C'mon lads, keep the guesses commin, i'll try anything you suggest, cos its ruining fallout for me.

Hmm if thats the case try messing around with the mixer on your voulme settings turning windows sounds off and having on the fallout 3 sounds active see if it still happens then you can tell if its an in game problem?

Sorry my last post was no help.
