Old Companions returned.

I thought that some companions from the prior games could be added to New Vegas. So I picked a list of companions from the three games before hand and gave them a little info about what has happened to them. Of course these are just ideas for older characters/characters related to former companions.

Fallout 1 companions (120 years Prior to NV)

Ian - The great grandson of a man of the same name. Ian is a caravan guard who wishes to make his fortune in New Vegas. He states that his name means a lot to his father as his grandfather who had the same name was supposedly burnt to death in a battle with a Super Mutant. This has caused the bloodline from then to have a great distrust of Super Mutants and burners. Unlike his great grandfather Ian is rather easy going and calm until faced with confrontation than it is all business. A long haired and rough looking man Ian can be found at Goodsprings looking for work.

Tycho - The supposed great granddaughter Alison Birch has taken her grandfather’s name much to the disdain of the Desert rangers and NCR Rangers. Alison prefers to use her great grandfather’s name over her own as it inspires fear and panic among that of the Fiends in the Mojave. The legend that was the ranger in the Duster lives on through its family. She even wears Tycho's old duster for luck out in the unforgiving wastes. She can be found with the NCR at McCarran trying to prove her worth.

Fallout 2 companions (39 years Prior to NV)

Sulik - Now an ageing warrior he is worried for the lives of those he has sworn to protect. His search for his sister ended with tragedy, after finding out his sister was sold into slavery by the legion. On his own for some time Sulik joined a group of Nomads which eventually became his new tribe. He swears to protect this small group and has brought them to the Followers of the Apocalypse for safety.

Goris - Still the wise Deathclaw we all know and love. Goris has found peace wandering the wastes and avoiding any major cities in fear he might be killed before his time. Finding a small settlement named Jacobstown, he was able to convince an old friend of his that he would not cause any trouble for the inhabitants.

Davin - Now a middle aged man Davin has lived far past his expectations, but laments the passing of his dear sister. Having greatly improved in his abilities since the last time he was out in the wasteland, he now waits for some excitement in his new home of Primm.

Cassidy - Cassidy is now an old man who constantly complains about his lack of booze and sore trigger fingers. He is only in the Mojave because he heard that someone using the name Cassidy Caravans was around there. Hoping that they were not who he thought they were he travelled to the Mojave because he also heard some people he really pissed off in the past were out there. The Van Graf’s. This is also a quest mod as they two Cassidy’s can be reunited in an awkward confrontation.

Fallout 3 (4 years prior to NV)

Somah - Somah has dealt with some weird ass s#*! in her time so nothing surprises her at this point in her life. A former slaver she is now trying to do the right thing and not become just another slaver. What brought this on was a run with a young man who helped her get out of a tight spot. She is now one of the Followers of the Apocalypse working in Freeside. Unlike the other Followers however, she seems to lack any patience with patients who relapse back into their habits. She also has great hatred for the Fiends who she believes would be better off as slaves, but will never out and say it.

Toshiro Kago - Tales of an armoured man walking through the wasteland have been told for years, but can they be true? Having finally learned English (or what little he could pick up) Toshiro began walking through the wasteland in an attempt to find purpose in his existence. Having taken a new blade, he now uses a laser Katana along with a new form of armour he had found that was similar to his old set, yet stronger. He came to the Mojave seeking the city of lights and the man who walks under the Banner of the Cow. Though much of his own language still peaks out during combat he tries his best to adhere to this strange new world. He was last seen near the Towering Men.

Paulson - Paulson came to the Mojave to answer some signal about a Caravan calling themselves the Happy Trails Caravan Company. Having had no idea where the caravan company was he settled in Goodsprings in the hopes that someone with Knowledge of this offer would come by and help an old cowboy out.

Sydney - Now still a mercenary for Hire she has moved from DC to the Mojave seeking work from the rich weirdo Mr House. However upon arrival she found that not only did she have to pay to get into the strip but also Mr House doesn’t see anyone anymore. She is now working for the Van Graff’s for certain odd jobs that none of their other lackies wish to do. The only downside to working for weapons dealers is that they charge you for the ammo you buy from them. And she wishes Simon would stop staring. She can be found in the Atomic Wrangler drinking and hearing stories about a courier.

Rory Maclaren - Rory Maclaren has by far the worst luck imaginable. After escaping paradise falls he was jailed for a while for picking a fight some town’s sheriff. After being "escorted" out of the town he went wandering for a while, but trouble was never too far behind. After reaching Vegas he was mugged before he got to the gate and was shaken down by some bodyguard. Staying with the followers for some time he decided to go off into the Mojave to head home. That was until he was caught by Caesars Legion. There has to be good luck coming his way soon down at Cottonwood Cove.

Butch DeLoria - Butch wanted to be the best Barber in DC, but also wanted to be part of the toughest gang around. He came to the Mojave hearing about a gang of real tough guys that were having a hard time with the NCR. Not knowing what the NCR is Butch came to New Vegas to join the baddest of the Bad. The Kings.

Charon - Charon came to the Mojave for two reasons. One was to get away from DC and its Super Mutants, the other was to find a new place to live besides the irradiated dump back in DC. Having found a place in Boulder City, he thought his life would no longer have to deal with the problems of another. That was until some courier saved his life.

So this is just a thought that came to mind and I hope to hear what ya all think?
