GNR Extended

Hi i'm currently having problems with custom songs in Fallout 3. I'm using the GNR extender by PimpBot 420, i have 100 songs that i've chosen and i've converted them all using the programs and specs he's specified. Yet the playback is AWFUL.

I'm running a quad core, with a GTX 8800 and 4 gig of ram. It's not my computer, i run fallout 3 seamlessly on top specs (obviously). Yet these songs sound dreadful. Skipping and just blending, does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

Note: i've played the songs in itunes out of game, and they sound fine.

Just an update it seems that it's may only be the first song after loading a save/the mod that doesn't play well, all the others sounded good except they cut off before the end. Any comments at all would be appciated, surely other people use this mod.

I'm not familiar with that mod, but it's possible some of the problems could be related to other portions of your computer. Fallout 3 is touchy with it's sound and codecs, and if you have certain codecs loaded, it can mess up things. Also, Vista + Fallout3 has problems with the radio playing on your Pipboy, where 3-Dog would sound fine, but music would stutter badly. Creative's ALchemly would fix that problem, but in turn introduce stability problems with the game.

Overall I can't say how to fix your problem, but that's a couple things that might steer you in the right direction.
