NordicPherret
Greetings fellow mod users. So I recently started modding FO4. I've spent near years playing Skyrim modded and wanted to enjoy it with Fallout as well. The problem started when I went to download and install AAF(Advanced Animation Framework) I went to the authors page and got the latest but when I went to install it in Vortex, I get the following error. Errors were reported processing the installer for "AAF_V166-0_Beta"Installer Prerequisites not fulfilled: 'File fallout4.esm' is Active OR'File fallout4.esm' is Inactive. This is a new error for me. Has anyone else seen this before? (Update) So, as was a suggestion I received from a friend, deleting the .esm file and reacquiring it netted no change. It's still giving the same error and not installing. Edited October 11, 2022 by NordicPherret
NordicPherret
Okay, so I've deleted the .esm and reacquired. I have even completely reinstalled Vortex. Still nothing. Guys'gals, please. I'm at a loss here. I'm not even running mod heavy. There's 28 mods in my list and only a couple require AAF. What am I doing wrong?
Blinxys
Uhm, last I looked current AAF is no longer available or supported on Nexus for nearly a year now. :whistling: AFAIK, it's still stuck pre-release cycle, and have personally lost interest in its so-called development. :wallbash: You'll have far better luck getting appropriate support from the author's authorized site(s).(i.e. from whence it came something.something.moddingham.something.something IIRC). However, if you DL'ed it here; therein lay the rub, (you probably picked up plugins for a later version than the one Nexus provides).

I've messaged him as well but have not heard back yet. I'm trying to expend any and all options.
