MisterCrowley
Wow, something must be wrong with my Tesla Cannon. 0_oIt took one shot to down a Vertibird, but it did take almost three shots to kill an Enclave member. Steel > Meat
Mr MMMM
Well... I haven't seen much of the new enemies (actually, only the reaver so far), so I can't say so much about them. I do have to say I'm quite dissappointed with the final quest because I pretty much have to use 30+ stimpacks and 4893027489032748932 microfusion cells, and I know the energy weapons are cool and stuff, but honestly I have always preferred assualt rifles and missile launchers, and "real" stuff like that. It's pretty much impossible to use anything except the tesla cannon and plasma rifle in the last quest due to the amount of enclave soldiers with the new armor and the strength of all of them. I also expected the whole "Bombing" to be more impressive than the megaton explosion. I play on low quality because my computer is fairly old, but tbh I don't care how high the quality was I thought that scene sucked. HOWEVERERERERERERERERRRRRRRR The weapons are *ban* awesome. Tri-laser is the poo, tesla cannon is *ban* amazing, heavy incinerator is pretty cool as well. The new armor looks very cool, and with all the new flame-based weapons I think it's useful as well. The earlier quests are much better than the last one, I feel, because you don't have to kill 9000000000000000000 people/you don't have to kill any if you're really skilled. I didn't think the new maps/areas where the greatest things ever (actually, I thought they could have used some serious work). I also hate many of the points mentioned already, such as the tesla cannon taking down a vertiberd in one hit but taking like three on a super mutant -_-. I would have liked to see an ending scene as well. And it conflicts with about every other mod I have, so I had to disable quite a few to not glitch. The length is lacking, and really, I just took out at least 80 people in the last two days, and all you guys say is "get me some cameras kthx" And although I'm complaining so much, I still love it. It's just like with the base game: So many bugs, annoyances, and crap, but it's still one of the best game's we've ever played, and it goes for the dlc as well. It could use some (a lot) tuning, but it's still very fun. I'd rate it 7.5/10 (basing 5 as average)
quack35
Yeah, they basically took FO3's ending and replaced it with Oblivion's.
mohikana
The whole DLC took me by surprise, to be honest. In terms of the toughness of enemies, as well as their number, it is harder than the other DLCs. (The Albino Radscorpion chased me from Girdershade halfway across the map before I managed to kill it :P) I did enjoy it, just as I've enjoyed all the other DLCs, but I was surprised when at the end Elder Lyons walks up to you and says that he didn't trust you in the beginning, when all I remember was him giving permission for me to be trained in the use of Power Armor and giving his condolences as to the death of the player's Dad :D Weird turnaround. nekoali
I preferred it much more for the little things than the big ones. The "new" wasteland, weapons, charcters, etc. are all really great. The main complaint is the ending is SOOO anticlimactic. I know Dr. Li was sent to the Commonwealth because they couldn't get her voice acting into the mod, but I still hope this forces them to create a commonwealth expansion. I'd actually like to see a full on new game, like Fallout New Vegas for the Commonwealth. Have you start off as an android who just recently discovered self determination. spawnlod
I just want to know why the Brotherhood of Steel doesnt blow Fawkes away, when he just shows up after the Project Purity quest. They just gonna let a Super Mutamt hang out in the Citadel for 2 weeks while your in a coma? Then at the end of the DLC Fawkes is still there waitin for ya. To top it off, they have the gall to tell you that they want you to go into DC and kill as many Super Mutants as possible. All the while Fawkes is standing right behind you.... Oh well all in all I liked the New DLC and I love the Heavy Incinerator cannon. Blacksnake89
There's the 2 new DLC's comming out. Point Place or something and Mothership Zeta. MSZ sounds like it'll be pretty cool, getting abducted by aliens anyone? From a modders standpoint Point Place will be great as it adds a swamp template for future environment mods. Put to good use someone could make a terrific zombie mod. MSZ could be used to make some good Sci-fi mods, I'm looking forward to making an alienship esque player house.
