Make a barrel mod block muzzle attachments

Try including both the keyword for that gun's barrel mod AND muzzle mod in your barrel mod and see if the game considers them occupied once you install the barrel. It won't grey anything out though. It just not how the menu works. You can't add or withdraw keywords from Forms at runtime so there's no way to conditionalize them that way.

The keyword that the Automatic laser musket uses to block the player form modding it can be used on your barrel.

I think the keyword is - IgnoreWorkbenchData

 

Your barrel has the keyword AP_muzzle, you could try removing that attachment point keyword.
