starboysfo
I had the same problem, the only real glitch in dragonborn I experienced.Rather than moving to her, have her move to you--it works great, although if I recall you do not get her armor/loot (there is a way around that, too, I think, but I was more concerned with moving the quest forward.) This is what worked for me:Note: xx should be replaced with whatever dragonborn is in your loading order-- you can determine that in-game by opening the console and clicking on anything in Solstenheim and noting the first two numbers. Open console. Type: "prid xx0177DD" and hit enter. Next type "moveto player" and hit enter. She should appear next to you. (dead and nekkid in my case, but good enough to get the next quest objective!)Ok, I know I'm posting this nearly seven years later...the joys of the internet, eh? ;-) Thanks for this info. Varona and her marker had disappeared off the map, and your "moveto player" command is the ONLY thing that worked for me. Thanks for the info, I'm sure it won't be the last time I use it! Interestingly enough, I had found the marker on the map of where she *should* be before I left the 'shroom houses, so I had an idea where she ought to be. I found the ashborn that were supposed to have killed her...but not her. When I checked again, I found her marker moving SE from Raven Rock, on its way to Skyrim! At the time, I thought if meant she had fled to Skyrim from Solstheim...but when after paying the passage fee back her marker then showed....back to Raven Rock! So there she was, stuck out in the sea somewhere southeast of Raven Rock, no way to get to her or move the quest toward completion. At that point, I tried the previous suggestions... with the "prid 040177DD" and player.moveto and then trying enable...even resurrect...doing absolutely NADA. Even tried moving around the map, but doing the 'player.move 040177DD' would only leave me exactly wherever I was standing, no corpse in sight. (BTW, to the poster who received the "compiled script cannot be saved" and "object cannot be moved" errors, that apparently means that the first two digits of your ref id for her need to be changed. In my case, the "XX" was 04....you may need to try 03, 02, 01, and of course items for the main game seem to start with '00'). So I did PRID 040177DD, then player.moveto 040177DD, then enable, then resurrect...finally when I found this thread and did the "moveto player" command, she showed up at my feet, fully clothed :P Thanks guys -- all the info you've posted over the years helps a lot. You're the gift that keeps on giving!! cheers, starboysfo.
