Fallout 4 Crash\Freeze

I was wondering if someone could take a look at my mod load order and see if there is an obvious identifiable problem. The game will freeze or crash when traveling from one section to another. All the mods are up to date and I have run Loot, AutoClean, and FO4Edit. The mods were installed through Vortex. I really appreciate any help with this, it is driving me nuts.

Try deactivating half your load order and starting game.

If it doesn't crash, its one of those that is causing it.

If it does crash its in the other half.

narrow by halves until you zero in on it.

 

Just notices your installation for unique player and follower is incorrect. Go back to the mod page and read posts/stickies, they'll tell you how to do it right.

Hint: you don't need all those files, and you have to choose M or F player (it's the only way). :rolleyes:

 

Since you appear somewhat new to this, slow down on adding mods, you definitely have too many, and some are obvious conflicts.

Start from scratch, try a few see if they work, add a few more.

 

Start a new game for each, each time.

Cluster/group same type mods i.e. sim settlements (great mod but it's a beast, this will take over your game- not bad if that is what you want)
Armorsmith should be clustered like awkcr.

(Personally, I forgot they had so many components, i merged them all so long ago). :pinch:

 

Sort of looks like you are modding the same settlements from several different mods.

 

Mod, mod some more... until it breaks, fix it, rinse, repeat. It's how this works. :wink:

Then figure out how to merge mods if you are so inclined. It will improve your quality of life, (in-game at least).
