What's causing my Argonians to look terrible?

What the hell is this?

 

It's been going on for a while, but I've held off trying to get help on it up till now. No matter what quality I set my graphics at, it's exactly the same. All Argonians (both sexes) show up with this freaky low texture Freddie Krueger sweater bullcrap for their base torso skin. I've installed the unofficial patches for Oblivion and the expansions, I've updated Oblivion itself, and I'm not running any Argonian-specific mods at all.

edit: Further experimenting on this made me notice that Khajiit females are affected by a similar texture problem. Males, strangely, aren't.

The only body mod I'm running is the basic HGEC OMOD with Ozmo's High Rez "oiled" skin textures, so I'm going to tinker around with that a little.
