As always: No one can guarantee... If you want to be on the safe side, finish your load order, test it - and don't change it during your playthrough.

OFC, for most people (including me), that's just theory...

Personal experience (which doesn't "prove" anything): I already added Dnydolod and its output during a playthrough, I even re-ran Dyndolod after I had added some buildings to the game. No problem at all.

I'd say: Give it a try. Do some testing. If everything seems okay, play on. If anything goes wrong, revert to a previous save game.

I have often installed/removed and/or updated DynDOLOD during a playthrough and it shouldn't cause any issues if that is all you change as it is just displaying lower quality versions of existing textures in the distance. However if you add, remove or change a mod which changes the landscape, buildings or trees as well this might then cause problems with things being missing or left behind in your save. There is a very detailed set of instructions for using DynDOLOD with two videos one for Vortex and one for MO alomg with clear installation and running instructions.

It is very confusing the first time you do it here is a link to the instructions:

- this is for DynDOLOD 2 which is fine unless you want Grass Lod.

Once installed you need to run TexGen > DynDOLOD then zip the output and install it into your mod organiser - if you want terrain LOD you need to run xLodGen first then TexGen a> DynDOLOD. If you want grass LOD you will need to use DynDOLOD 3...
