Oddest Horse Armour Bug

Im having the oddest problem at the minute with horse armour.

 

I had all my mods loaded in and took my legally bought horse to the Imperial City to get it armored, The orc was outside in the stables, not the house, and when i spoke to her i had the normal options of buying a horse or getting the armour,so i chose to get the armour. anyway, the only options that were flashing up were "Give me a horse AND armour", and it was telling me to buy a horse if i want armour. freaky .. so i decided to remove all mods and try it that way .. same thing .. now, i tried loading up a save position several times with different mods active (just race options Cute elves, Terimer, Orc, Khajiit and Argonian Hgec body replacer, And lastly gothic breton) .. now i was getting the same option about "owning" a horse everytime i went to speak to her .. untill .. at one point she went inside the cabin .. I followed her in, just on the off chance, and the option was there to get my horse "the legally bought one" armoured ...

 

So my question is .. is this a basic oblivion bug, As i said i tried it with no active mods and still bugged out, and tried with with the race options and inside the hut, got the armour.. im pretty confused about whats going on with that so would love any help on the subject! ..

I don't know if it's a normal oblivion bug, but if i were you i'd download the Unofficial Official Mods Patch. It will probably solve bugs you have with the horse armor mod.

Well you see, thats the oddest thing ... i did. Ive installed the UOB, and other than the retextured horse eyes, i dont have a single addon for horses or horse armours, thats why im so confused at the situation. Ill see if i can reinstall the Uob again, just incase one of the mods i added somehow changed something, but i installed the patch last .. meh .. who knows, ill try the patch again anyway, always worth a shot .. thanks!
