LE Skyrim: The Soldier From 2012

Well, lets face it, not everyone loves fantasies. Some people even like first-person shooters!

 

Lets make a hybrid.

 

A modern day Special forces soldier finds himself transported to Skyrim. Locals see his Walther P99 handgun and modern technology and call him a dragon born.

 

Craftables

Incendiary (fire damage)

hollow point/slug (knockback / large damage)

rock salt/Rubber bullets (knockback /little damage)

poison dart (paralysis)

full metal jacket/Buckshot (Damage)

Rifles (long distance damage, zoom)

shotguns (close range damage, knockback)

handguns(Quick access, close range)

RPGs (Large explosions)

Explosives (rune equivilants, explosions)

Silencers (Recon and assassination)

Mounted Bayonets (improved bash damage)

Mounted Flashlights

 

-Apparel

Sniper Ghillie Camo (Invisibility when motionless outdoors)

EOD Bomb Suit (resist Fire)

Bullet Proof armor (reflects arrows) ( Steel plate reflects iron arrows, Dwarven plate reflects Steel and Iron arrows, etc.

Night vision goggles (night eye)

 

-Misc

First Aid Kits

 

 

 

Considering he is a modern man it would make sense he couldn't use magic.

Maybe use the crossbow animation as a starting point.

Just some ideas.
