adamaknight
This has probably been asked a million times before, but I searched and couldnt find anything about it... How do you make it so that an enemy has a random chance of giving the player a disease when attacking? Just like with a rat you can catch dozens of diseases. Is it as simple as just putting the disease into the creature's spell list?
LoginToDownload
It is, more or less, just as simple as putting the disease in the creature's spell list. A disease in the spell list automatically has a chance of being passed on to the player when the creature connects with a melee attack. I'm not sure how it works with multiple diseases; just about all creatures get their diseases by a LeveledSpell that only gives them one at once (And, even then, randomly). That's also why those annoying Dread Zombies pass Astral Vapours on so often. All of them have it, instead of it being randomly handed out. Vagrant0
Just keep in mind that the carrier of the disease is also affected by it, so extremely harmful diseases may lead to very weak (or instantly dead) actors.
