tw1stedtony9
alright guys ive installed 2 mods onto fallout 3 - the tactical weapons and the power armor training removal - thats it. and im experienceing quite a good amount of lag. ill just randomly be walking through the wasteland and it will freeze for a second or 2 than continue. than when im in battle shooting people itreally starts to become more consistant with lag. overall im finding it very annoying and idk if its the mods that are responsible or not. id really appreciate some help from you guys on how i can fix this. and before you ask im playing on my recommended video setting of ultra high. i even put the quality on medium to see if it would help and i got no improvement with the game performance

lnodiv
That was a serious reply. If you aren't interested in solving the problem methodically, don't expect a lot of help here. In order to solve it, we need to know what exactly the problem is. IE, if it is from mods or something about your system or the game install itself. The easiest way to test that is to do what I suggested.
meyer189
Hey, if its not the mods, not the graphics, then simply reinnstal FO3. you will still have the savegame.... not that much a deal if you just have 2 mods. if you can think of something else, let me know Best regards Meyer189 :)

Remember the recommended settings are for the vanilla game. As soon as you start adding mods who knows what kind of hog they can turn your computer into. I'd suggest turning all the settings down to low or medium and then start cranking them up until you get a happy medium of no lag and good visuals.
