Borisman1
Dear Nexus Community, I've postponed it for a long time, but with all those beautiful mods out there I finally installed SKSE for skyrim in order to be able to play some. But when I tested the SKSE launcher the first time, it failed. Skyrim starts up (even faster than before), but when I try to load a save, it gives me the famiiliar error "This save relies on content that is no longer present...", and when I click yes, it CTDs immediately. However, when I try to load these same saves by just using the vanilla skyrim launcher it simply works without any errors, and it does not give me the error message when I try to load a game. I even checked the save dependencies with wrye bash, and everything was right. So somehow, skyrim does not detect my installed mods when launched via the SKSE launcher. Anyone having the same problem? I've searched the web for some time but can't find the solution. Regards Borisman1
Jord159
I've never encountered this issue but my first guess would be to reinstall skse and double check you followed all the correct steps.
