Due to the last topic, I made this poll to subside peoples lust for the powerful 44. Magnum Variants. I believe the Blackhawk is the best Magnum because:

1. You don't need cheats to get it. (like the Mysterious Stranger 44. Magnum)

2. You do not have to destroy the Brotherhood [like Callahan's Magnum(which is gay by the way)].

3. Other than Mirlurks, Broken Steel leveled characters, Super mutant Behemoth and Master, Most can be killed in one headshot when leveled up.

From Vanilla FO3: Callahan's Magnum. Nice damage, stronger than Blackhawk, can fire 1-2 more shots in VATS with appropriate perks.

 

From mods: Gandiva (higher damage than Blackhawk, unscoped, a strong six-gun) and Verdict (BF2142 pistol, in MY Fallout 3? It's more likely than you think! Blue tracer, beautiful texture).

 

By the way, you forgot to put the Law Dog up in the poll.

the regular 32 pistol.

 

the 44 magnums do ludicrous damage and are overpowered on any difficulty. the only enemy that will beat your head in before you cripple it are behemoths, and thats assuming you dont abuse their AI and make them sidestep geomerty.

 

and vegeta's scouter? honestly, who uses that for regular play? it is the most unsatisfying weapon to use in this game.

 

i would probably use the unique version for bigger fire fights, but i dont have the pitt, so the normal 44 would be an acceptable weapon in big battles.

Concerning Zeonic Glory: Yes you are right. Dang! I completely forgot about the cut content and the Law dog........... sigh......... too bad I can not re-modify the polls. :(

 

Concerning Odolwa: Ha! Ha! Ha!................. yeah............... too bad I do not have a scouter handy to measure that "over 9000!!!" pistol of yours. I agree that it is way to powerful and makes the game to easy.

I never use the "Vegeta Magnum" for any of my characters, save for that 1 character who is an insta-killing Asian Cowboy Businessman. All of the revolvers are really fun to use when you have WMK and the unique small guns addon for it.
